WTF - Adhesives & Sealants
3D modeling and visualization for WTF adhesives and sealants. The project produced 3D product images directly from real sample products to support pre-sale campaigns for new items. The modeling process leveraged factory-supplied sample packages, from which digital versions were developed in multiple variations (different nozzles and colors). These product images were also intended for large-format print materials such as trade-show walls and roll-up banners, so very high-resolution versions were created.
Goal
- 3D-model one product package along with different nozzles. Create eight standard product images and additional high-resolution versions for large-format printing. Soften the 3D/CG look of the large-format versions with subtle scratches and smudges to convey an authentic, realistic feel, so the images don’t appear too clean or computer-generated.
Process
- 3D modeling of the product package from a sample
- Modeling different nozzles from samples
- Texturing with the supplied label file and creating surface materials, color scanning.
- Lighting design
- Rendering at 2700px and post-processing
- Rendering at 9000px and post-processing

- 8 backgroundless product images ready for pre-sales and marketing
- Good-looking images that elevate the quality of the presentation
- Print-quality product images ready for large-format printing for roll-ups and trade-show walls
